This the first 40 minutes of a longer iPhone or iPad video tutorial at CartoonSmart.com . You’ll learn how to add a map view into your app, show your current location, define settings for it (zoom, user interactions, etc), and show your current compass heading.
In the full lesson we will then look at how to point them map at any location (a particular city), then automatically move through the city at a set speed. And the real fun part will be touching areas onscreen to run an animated explosion. Then areas you explode will have a crater that stays on the map and moves around as the map views (so its locked into that spot with the map). A lot of this code was used to make this popular app… itunes.apple.com/us/app/zombie-air-strike/id349917595?mt=8
